A Prayer for Peace.

We live in a time of Great Sadness when Broken fathers beget broken sons.

When cruelty ossifies our hearts

And blood thickens with revenge.

I pray we break this reign of iron

That befalls our humanity

That love pours through the pores of hardened hate

And we still the explosions of guns.

We re-member

We are loved.

That we are never alone.

And the Light streams a new consciousness

Over our woundedness.

Aah men of steel

There is no God of wrath

Depart the cauldron of pain

Vengeance is not the antidote.

Reach out across the barricades and barbed wire.

There is no malicious intent in the heart of a child.

Malice and rancour that poisons the nurturing love of a mother

Or grandmother.

Judgment is the venom of the ego

Stirring the cauldron of suffering

Breaking the sacred fractals of the beauty of our humanity.

May we defang this fear of the Other.

A eye for an eye blinds us all.

Human unity is our antidote

Cleansing our soul’s journey

With the balm of tenderness

Curing the destructive arc of our warring ways.

Divine Mother.

Amma.

Help us rise above our differences.

So our faith conquers the jaggerness

Devotion to peace becomes our mantra

And blessings of harmony

Oxygenate our future.

With Love and Light.

One on One.

We silence the guns.

We breathe.

We forgive.

We walk together.

So that children may once again

Be children

And their laughter warms our frozen hearts

We transcend the futility of war.

We heal.

We find peace within.

We re-unite with the joy of this magical human journey.
