What we call science today is

Mechanistic

Extractive.

Reductionist.

The domination of Nature.

It’s a science of profit and greed.

A science that was tempered in the cauldron of horrendous exploitation.

Birthed as the spectre of capitalism

Breaks its medieval feudal bondage.

And a renaissance opens the floodgates of a perverted slavery.

Racism is the social construct of exploitation

Whose ghost lives on today.

Shapeshifting through colonisation

Neocolonialism. Fourth Industrial Revolution.

A new reset designed by our new naked emperors.

Our revolution must turn back the tides.

We are the product of regeneration.

The science of indigeneity.

A nurturing tapestry of Nature.

The science of radical collaboration

and custodianship.

And the reciprocal love of Mother Earth

Is the joy

I rise to each morning

In prayer of gratitude
